Dad and Tessa arrived Sunday around noon looking amazingly well after a 2,500 mile drive.
First thing Monday AM we installed posts, we were going to install beams but we noticed they came the wrong size. 10' instead of 12'!
so we did what we could and to me it seemed as if we were almost done!
Tessa made the most AMAZING apple pie with this crumble topping...........recipe to come.

Hannah, I can't believe how much you all are getting done so quickly. It seems like you should be too tired to get up the next day! Also I just have to say that I haven't seen your Dad in ...what 20 some years or so and from what I can tell I think he looks almost unchanged! Hope things finish well- we are all watching:)
