Inside Greenhouse

Inside greenhouse today-all tools hung and working on more shelves. Got some cool old rusted railroad pins and making shelves out of those, drilling into cordwood. Will wait till spring unless weather holds to paint trim around windows. Looking forward to taking down fence... inclosing new south portion and creating a larger creative fun area to grow things.

Till Spring...or till door.....

Hello Hannah,
It was great looking at the pics of your summer project. I am also trying to build a cordwood garden shed and had a question about the glass bottles. When you used them in your wall are they seen from the outside and the inside.(The same bottle)?
My walls are only 8 inches but using
glass bottles I can only see them from the outside, the mortar covers the inside. Any advice would be helpful.
Another comment about the floor of your greenhouse. It looked from the picture you are using earth to be the floor. I work at a greenhouse and over the years we have learned if you have a gravel bed of about 6 inches it helps with the growing, but I'm in NC it might be different in Montana. Rebekah

Hannah,

Your structure is nice, but I wouldn't call it a greenhouse due to the lack of windows.
